How to use Beserna Cream (5%)


Overview: Beserna Cream 5%

Beserna Cream is used for external genital and perianal warts. Apply an appropriate amount once a day, three times a week (e.g. Monday, Wednesday, Friday, or Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday) before going to bed. Leave on after application, and wash off with soap the next morning after 6 to 10 hours. Extended application time increases the risk of skin disorders, so use as directed. Avoid continuous application.

How to take

  • Apply an appropriate amount to the external genitalia or perianal wart area once a day, three times a week, before going to bed.
  • After application, leave the area as it is, and when you wake up, be sure to wash the applied medication off with soap and water or warm water approximately 6 to 10 hours after application.

*The wart area refers to the bumpy areas commonly called "warts."
*Avoid applying the product consecutively. For example, apply the product three times a week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, or Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
*Extended application time can increase the risk of severe skin disorders, so be sure to apply the product within the specified time.

Notes

For women

  • If this medicine is applied near the vaginal opening or urethral opening, it may cause pain or swelling at the urethral opening and surrounding areas, making urination difficult. Therefore, when applying this medicine near the vaginal opening or urethral opening, be sure to apply it only to the areas with warts.

For men

  • When treating warts inside the foreskin of male patients with conditions such as pseudo-phimosis, erythema, erosion, peeling, and edema are likely to occur, so please turn the foreskin back every day and keep the inside of the foreskin clean.

*Since skin disorders may occur if this medication comes into contact with your sexual partner, please avoid sexual intercourse while applying this medication.

*If an individual without a license to sell pharmaceuticals sells pharmaceuticals through a flea market app, etc., they may be in violation of Article 24, Paragraph 1 of the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Act. Please refrain from such conduct. *Patients with chronic graft-versus-host disease (chronic GVHD) or autoimmune diseases, immunosuppressed patients, pregnant women, or those who may be pregnant. Minors should use with caution. Consult a doctor.
