Genital Warts (Condyloma Acuminata) are a sexually transmitted infection caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV). They typically cause wart-like bumps to form around the genital and anal areas.

Symptoms: In the early stages, small warts may appear as one or more bumps. If left untreated, they can grow larger, sometimes resembling a cauliflower, and increase in number.

Most of the time, there are no noticeable symptoms like pain or itching. However, in some cases, there may be discomfort, itching, or even bleeding.

Common Locations:

  • Men: On the penis, glans, foreskin, scrotum, and around the anus
  • Women: On the vulva, vagina, cervix, and around the anus

Incubation Period: The time from infection to the appearance of symptoms can range from a few weeks to a few months, and in some cases, it may take years.
